Keiran studied Music and Environmental Science at Florida State University. Where he learned instrument repair and later became the Instructor for String repair for Music Educators course.
Moved to NY in 2009 to work for Arnold Schnitzer. In 2017 took over the workspace and opened the O’Hara Fine Instruments, specializing in professional Upright Bass repair.
Keiran instruments have won Tone Awards and “Sound off” Awards at the International Society of Bassist bi-annual competitions.
He is an assistant instructor for the University of New Hampshire Bass set-up and Bass repair courses.
Jen Martins
Luthier
Jen Graduated from the Chicago School of Violin Making in 2012.
Attended University of New Hampshire Craftsmanship courses just about every summer since 2016-2024, and has studied with Lynn Hannings and George Rubino.
Top off and extensive repairs and restorations are handled primarily by Jen
Jen has a Bachelors Degree from Berklee College of Music
